Funding to help meet the financial needs for domestic graduate students is made up from one or more of the following internal and external funding sources: awards, fellowships, scholarships, teaching assistantships, research assistantships, or graduate assistantships.
In the 2019-2020 academic year, full-time York graduate students receive a standard domestic funding package of $23,891 towards doctoral degree programs and $11,000 towards master’s degree programs.
Please note that at the moment we have no funding for international students.
Funding is contingent on continuous registration as a full-time student, continued satisfactory academic progress as determined by Faculty of Graduate Studies Regulations and Program Requirements, and fulfillment of any funding-related employment obligations.
Please visit Faculty of Graduate Studies – Funding and Awards for more information, including internal and external scholarship opportunities.
